Nestled near the Palms Casino Resort, Books and Buns in Las Vegas is a private, converted creative space filled with thousands of new books—mostly by Black authors across all genres. Experience original art, enjoy soft seating, create in open art spaces, explore a fantastic LEGO room, play at game tables, and unwind to soothing sounds while enjoying delicious bites.

Hi! I’m Dr. LaTatia Stroud—known by my Choctaw name, Rain Angeni—writer (The Green Green Book), surrealist mixed media artist, and curator of this eclectic hub. Books and Buns is a safe space where art, books, and culture come together. I live and create in this wonderfully converted artsy space! Experience my live art sessions as I explore new mixed media techniques for my first solo exhibition and enjoy an exciting lineup of events. Come vibe with the Books and Buns tribe.
