THE NOTATIONS

At The Crossroads, Released in 1971 by The Notations

The Notations are an American soul group that originated in Chicago, Illinois, during the late 1960s. The Notations formed while they were still in high school in Chicago. They initially recorded for Tas Records and later caught the attention of Syl Johnson, who brought them to Twinight Records. Their first million-dollar seller was the song “I’m Still Here”, produced by Syl Johnson.  Another notable track was “At The Crossroads”, written by group member James Stroud. The group remained with Twinight Records until its closure.  The Notations are still currently touring.
